The first section of our guide is packed with my favourite Jameson whiskey drinks. These are co*cktails I’ve made many times before (arguablytoomany times…).
Below, you’ll find everything from the zingy Irish Sour to the tasty Irish Lemonade along with some often-overlooked Jameson drinks recipes.
1. Jameson and Ginger
First is the tastiest (and the quickest to make!) of our easy Jameson co*cktails – the Jemmy and Ginger.
The beauty of this one is its simplicity. You only need four ingredients – Jameson, a premium ginger ale, lime and some ice.
To make, add Jameson, ginger ale and the juice of half a lime into a glass with ice. Stir and garnish with a slice on lime.
Lip-smackingly-delicious and refreshing, this is arguably one of the most popular drinks with Jameson at its core.

2. Irish Sour
If you’re wondering what to mix with Jameson that’ll impress both your tastebuds and your guests, try the Irish Sour.
Ingredients wise, you need some Jameson, egg whites, simple syrup, lemon juice, Angostura bitters and ice.
First, you want to start with a chilled glass (pop it in the fridge for 10 minutes). Then add your ingredients to a shaker, shake hard and strain into your glass!
Although this is one of the easier-to-make Jameson drinks recipes, its appearance will make your guests think that you’ve spent years perfecting it!

3. The Irish Maid
The Irish Maid is, in my opinion, the best drink with Jameson, for a couple of reasons; it has a light, zesty and refreshing taste and it takes less than 2 minutes to make.
To make, you’ll need to muddle 2 thin chunks of cucumber in a shaker.
Then add Jameson, simple syrup, elderflower liqueur and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Add in a handful of ice and shake hard.
To serve, simply strain the mixture into a tall glass that’s 1/2 filled with ice.

4. The Irish Lemonade
If you’re looking for mixed drinks with Jameson that are great for parties, theIrish Lemonade is a good option. You can easily make a jug of this stuff and let people help themselves.
Assembling it is very straightforward – take your Jameson and add it to a glass 1/2 filled with ice.
Then pour in some ginger beer (or club soda), bitters, fresh lemonade and mint. Give it a stir it’s ready-to-rock!

5. The Irish Margarita
If you’re looking for St Patrick’s Day co*cktails, theverygreen Irish Margarita is worth considering.
To make, you’ll need Jameson, freshly squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, orange-flavoured liqueur and green food colouring.
First, take some kitchen paper and pour out 3 tablespoons of sugar. Then run some Jameson around the rim of the glass and dip it in the sugar to coat the entire rim.
You then need to add your mixture to a shaker and shake hard. To serve, simply strain the mix into a glass. This is one of the best Jameson co*cktails for those that like a potent drink!

6. Irish Gold
Few Jameson co*cktails are as easy and as delicious as the Irish Gold. This is a staple co*cktail in our house as it’s strong, quick-to-make and very refreshing.
The ingredients are very easily sourced – Jameson, peach schnapps, fresh OJ, ginger ale and a lime.
1/2 fill a tall glass with ice and add your ingredients. Then cut two slices of lime.
Squeeze one into the glass and gently stir. Use the other for garnish and you’re done!

7. The Irish Mule
The Irish Mule is one of the best Jameson drinks for summer. This one has oodles of flavour and it’s sweet, zesty and it packs a punch.
There’s only 4 ingredients for this one – Jameson, ginger beer, lime and ice.
Add your whiskey, and then squeeze in the juice from 2 slices of lime. Thengentlyfill the rest of the glass with ginger beer.
This is one of the more straightforward Jameson mixed drinks and it goes down a treat, even with those not fond of whiskey.

8. Irish Coffee
If you’re wondering what to mix with Jameson for an after-dinner pick-me-up, try the Irish Coffee.
This recipe has been on the go since 1943, when it was first made in Limerick at Foynes Airbase.
The perfect Irish Coffee has just 5 ingredients: Jameson, ground coffee, Demerara sugar, fresh cream and nutmeg and dark chocolate for garnishing.

9. Irish Eyes
If you’re after green drinks with Jameson, the Irish Eyes is a great option (especially as you don’t need to add any food colouring!).
Ingredients wise, you need Jameson, Baileys, green Crème de menthe and cream.
Take a shaker and 1/2 fill it with ice and then add Jameson, Baileys, green Crème de menthe and fresh cream. Shake and strain into a glass 1/2 filled with ice.

10. The Irish Mudslide
The Irish Mudslide is one of the more indulgent Jameson whiskey drinks that’s perfect for after dinner as a desert substitute.
It’s looks amazing and it’s handy to whip up (once you chill the glass before and harden the chocolate onto it).
You’ll need Baileys, Kahlua, Jameson, chocolate syrup, cream or ice cream and some shredded chocolate for garnish.

11. The Irish Negroni
The Irish Negroni is one one of the best Jameson drinks if you’re looking to impress (and if you/they enjoypotentco*cktails with Jameson) .
This is simple, elegant and the perfect drink to sip on a cool winters evening.
Sometimes referred to as a ‘Rosie Negroni’, this co*cktail requires Jameson, sweet vermouth, fresh orange juice, Campari and ice.
To make, add your ingredients into a large glass and stir. Then strain the mixture into a small fat glass 1/2 filled with ice.

12. The Irish Trash Can
The Irish Trash Can is one of the most potent Jameson drinks in this guide, so if you make it, drink it with caution.
For this, you’ll need whiskey or gin, light rum, vodka, peach schnapps, Bols Blue Curacao Liquer, Triple sec and RedBull.
Now, youcanadd the can of RedBull at the very end and have it sticking up out of the glass, but I prefer to just pour it in, as it’s a lot less messy.

13. The Irish Mojito
The Irish Mojito is one of the easier drinks with Jameson to knock up for a party, once you have the ingredients to hand.
This co*cktail has a pleasant, sweet taste that generally goes down well with most.
You’ll need Jameson, some limes, fresh mint leaves, sugar and either ginger beer or club soda.
Muddle your mint, two slice of lime and sugar in a shaker, first, and then add the rest of your ingredients. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.

14. The Irish Slammer
Ok, so the Irish Slammer arguably doesn’t below in a guide to easy Jameson co*cktails, but it’s here by popular demand.
This is another of the more potent Jameson mixed drinks, so keep that in mind before you knock it back.
First, 1/2 fill a large glass with Guinness or your favourite Irish stout. Then 1/2 fill a shot glass with Jameson and fill the rest of the shot with Baileys.
You then need to drop the shot into the Guinness and knock it back (quickly or the drink will curdle).

Both ‘The Irish Lemonade’ and ‘The Irish Mojito’ are relatively easy to make in large quantities, once you pay attention to the measurements. They aren’t the most potent Jameson mixed drinks, but they are refreshing and easy to make in bulk.
