- Lighten up any room by trading heavy fabrics for light and airy ones.
- Reshelf books, mixing horizontal stacks in with normal vertical volumes or organizing by color.

I like your tip to add new color to a room with pillows, throw blankets, or artwork. I am trying to spruce up my apartment a little bit because I think that it is too dark and I want to brighten it up and add more decorations. I think that adding some panel paintings that had a lot of colors would help brighten up a room, add more color, and give it more personality while also being really simple to do, so I will have to look into that.
