The texture was good, the flavor was OKAY.....but it definitely tasted like baking powder. I'm going to do what the others did and reduce the baking powder to 1 tablespoon. Instead of Cream of Tarter, I used two teaspoons of white vinegar, and instead of shortening, I used butter, and when it came to the milk, I say eyeball it. The 1/2 cup of milk tends to be a bit too much, so I just used enough until the dough formed. And instead of brushing them with plain butter before baking, I'm going to use the honey butter for more flavor. I also let them sit in the fridge for a few minutes. Not bad. I intend on making them again, using the tweaks I mentioned.
