Is it none of the answers is correct or none of the answers are correct? ›

“None” can be singular or plural here, with slightly different meanings. “None of the answers is correct” means “not a single one of those answers is correct.” “None of the answers are correct” means “not any of the answers are correct.”

'No' as a determiner and 'none' as a pronoun have the same meanings. Both mean 'not any' or 'not one'. There is none to tell you.
