NEW TIP

Amazing!

WOW! This is amazing! I added a extra can of tomatoes and extra chicken and bacon just so I could make some for the freezer. It's so nice! Firm hit with everyone and really quick!

Absolutely delicious and a hit with the kids

I added more chopped tomatoes to make it extra saucy 😋

Extra cheese

I added a ball of mozzarella light on the top with some fresh basil.

Simple ingredients yet powerfully tasty

Easy to make added mushrooms & courgette absolutely delicious

Absolutely delicious

We had this with parmentier potatoes, salad and garlic bread and it was the best recipe I’ve made from PON ever.

Very flavoursome pasta dish!

I found 1 tsp of sweetener was enough and just added cheese on top rather than putting it in the oven. I also added frankfurters.

Very easy to follow, amazing recipe!

I doubled up the ingredients, and froze portions for alternative days, thanks PON for a great recipe 😊

A new family favourite and so easy to make. Delicious!

Packed full of flavour. We used chicken thighs and added courgettes and grated carrot to the dish.

Tasty and filling

I had no mustard powder so just used normal mustard, also no chilli powder so used a dot of chilli sauce instead. This recipe was so easy and full of flavour.

This dish is super yummy and quick. I used left over cooked chicken and I added extra BBQ seasoning for taste.

Would it still work if I left out the chopped tomatoes?

Reply

    SharonMonday 10th July 2023

Hi Lacee, tomatoes are one of the main ingredients in Hunters Chicken Pasta Bake so can’t be left out. You could try using passata which is smooth, sieved tomato rather than chopped tomatoes if that helps at all.

      CodyFriday 8th September 2023

If to use passata instead of chopped tomatoes, would it still be the same quantity?

      LisaTuesday 12th September 2023

Hi Cody, yes, it would be 400g of passata

SarahFriday 9th June 2023

Can you use cajun spice instead with this?

Reply

    Cheryl LloydThursday 1st February 2024

We haven’t tried this recipe using Cajun spices but don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work. It will change the taste though.

Can you do this in the slow cooker?

Reply

    SharonMonday 15th May 2023

Hi Selina, our Hunter’s Chicken Bake isn’t suitable for cooking in the slow cooker; it’s best suited to cooking on the hob and then in the oven. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
