In 1999, a group of technology enthusiasts founded Rooman Technologies to create a training centre of excellence at Bangalore, India.
Westartedwith hiring the best trainers of the day and instilled a vision for the team – to provide training that provides employability, instills confidence and gives a certification that can be valued for years. Our founding team and board members relentlessly scoured the technology spurts happening across the world, and in India. They came up with ideas and innovative concepts to take the training journey further into the coming decades.
We worked with the government to provide upskilling and reskilling to employees and staff. Today, Rooman boasts of an enviable list of government supported training and vocational courses for graduates and students. We have centres pan India to train and generate employment for technicians, operators, and support assistants.

We provide certification courses for Cisco, Microsoft, Redhat and many more technologies. We develop products in the ioT and ERP domain apart from providing services like cyber security, data security, data center support.

Launched Rooman’s training division with the slogan “We bring Technology to India” When there was no Startup culture and entrepreneurship was not much appreciated.
Rooman launched MCSA/MCSE Programs which was the need of the hour.
When others were offering Cisco certification program on Simulator,
Rooman was the first in India to offer CCNA program on real time router.
Rooman became the first to offer Cyber Security Training in association with Checkpoint, ISS & TrendMicro.
First Cyber Crime Police station Launched in India at Bangalore.
Trained 900 Employees of Revenue Depart under it’s ambitious Bhoomi Project.
Rooman had 200 plus Franchise with centres in Canada, Srilanka, Bahrain Dubai etc. by2008.
Since 2008 there was a slump in IT certification Training.
While Rooman continued with IT certification Training, Also Launched IT services and Solution wing in the name of "SUPPORT DESK".
Ventured into IT services by maintaining IT infrastructure of 1400 Police stations across Karnataka.
Signed MOU with Kuvempu University to offer BSc-IT and MSc-IT Degree in IT-IMS for the first time in India.
Signed with Wipro as their Manpower Outsourcing partner.
Proposed, Setup and maintained the Infra for CET Counseling & Monitoring Cell.
Connected 900 CSC centers of Revenue Department and maintained for the next 5 years
There was a huge Skill Gap and it was the need of the Nation to have Skilled workforce.
Rooman partnered with NATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (NSDC) IN IT’S MISSION TO SKIILL 500 Million Youth and started offering training in 12 different sectors.
Rooman signed MOU with NSDC to execute one of the most ambitious project of MHA to Skill and Employ the youth of J&K. Rooman successfully trained and employed 5000 candidates from J&K
Rooman aligned it’s mission with the vision of our Honorable Prime Minister to make India “Skill capital of the world”.
The exposure gained from the global Skill institutions helped us in setting up State of the Art Facility across 40 cities in India.
Visualizing the disruptive transformation due to emerging Technologies, Rooman ventured into IoT and AI business by acquiring Preva Systems, an innovative company awarded as Best Startup for the Year 2016 and 2017.
