Looking for a few easy ways to decorate for spring? Sharing 6 simple spring decorating ideas for your living room.
I’m always so excited to come out of winter (ok, I’m writing this 1 day early,) and start decorating for spring! I don’t know about you, but winter is SO dark in the PNW, and so come March I am ready to pull out all of the spring things!
Here are a few ideas of what you could add to your home for spring!
1. add a piece of artwork
I love to switch out my artwork seasonally. I mostly do art prints, which makes it super affordable to do so.

2. switch throw pillows
I switch out most of my pillows throughout my home each season.
But this doesn’t need to be the case!
Add a pair of spring-like pillows to your living room chairs.
Grab a basket and 2 pillows and layer them inside next to a sofa.

3. add a spring-inspired candle
Whether it is the smell of linen or lavender, or maybe a floral scent, add a spring-inspired candle to a side, coffee or console table.
We shouldn’t need to save candles for when it is dark, cold and rainy, am I right?!?
4. change out an area rug
I love Loloi area rugs (and have them in most of the rooms in our home,) for a variety of reasons! One, I love all of their style and color choices, and two, they are affordable, which makes switching them out a couple times a year a bit easier!
They are also really lightweight and easy to roll up and store away!

5. decorate with flowers
My favorite way to decorate for spring! I add fresh flowers to my kitchen, desk, open shelves, console tables, bedside tables and coffee table. Ok, maybe not all at once (I wish!) But I do try to pick up a few bundles of flowers every couple of weeks to sprinkle throughout my home.
The hydrangeas above are real, but I just ordered these that have great reviews promising to look incredibly real!
And you can always do faux, like above!
6. add some real or faux greenery
Here’s another one I love to do each spring. If you don’t have stems in your yard to cut (or a green thumb,) buy a few stems of faux greenery! Nothing says spring more than greenery, am I right? Ok, maybe fresh flowers do.
