Anjali Mody, the founder of Josmo Studio, recommends rearranging the existing furniture layout to set up an intimate spot, which can be indoors or outdoors. “For an ideal date night setting rethink your existing arrangement and add a few touches to up the ante. For instance, you can add a fresh flower arrangement and candles. Make the most of the cool weather with an outdoor setting—light up a bonfire and get a blanket and enjoy a familiar space to cuddle. Re-inventing an already known space in your home with creativity not only brings romance into things, but also makes your partner join you in your joy of the little things inlife,” she adds.

"Make it your own table of love with personal touches such as postcards that you picked on holidays, gifts, or even souvenirs or even a love-letter with every course. You can add pierced citrus fruits, fresh strawberries, or a bunch of cinnamon sticks tied together to the table arrangement to add to the charm. The possibilities to use food as table décor are numerous. Finally, break the symmetry with a biophilic approach and use fresh leaves, twigs, and buds with touches of flowers here and there," he says.
4. Make a special ritual out of gift-giving
According to Space and Stories founder Nidhi Tiwari, date night on a special occasion such as Valentine's Day is not complete without gifts. But instead of wrapping them, she takes a different route to make the ritual even more romantic. "If you have got your partner clothes then use it as an accessory and set up a styling corner. Highlight the mood of the day with a romantic touch. This should be a time for digital detox—so gadgets should be off-limits," she says, adding “You can enhance the mood further with frill curtains and accent colours to create an inviting ambience."
